Come Hangry. Leave Happy.
ABOUT THE HANGRY FORK
As of August, 2024, The Hangry Fork is under new ownership! No worries! The new owners are part of the “Hangry Fork family” and the restaurant that you know and love will stay the same.
The Hangry Fork opened in Wolcott in February 2020 to Michelle Dube of Plymouth, her first restaurant after spending her career working in the industry. What we had no way of knowing was that it would be the absolute worst time to open a business. Not more than 3 weeks after we opened, the State of Connecticut shut down all businesses and The Hangry Fork was limited immediately to takeout service only. We did what we could and adjusted several times throughout the first year – building an outdoor dining space, socially distancing our dining room and more – and luckily, through the support of the local community, we survived! Even more, we recently expanded from a breakfast and lunch menu to a dinner destination three nights a week!
The Hangry Fork serves classic American and Italian favorites with the occasional twist on ingredients and presentation. We strive to use quality ingredients that are locally sourced and we are dedicated to working with our area farmers to cook up the best fresh food we possibly can. We are open Tuesday through Sunday starting at 8am and we serve breakfast until 3pm. From Wednesday through Saturday, we offer a dinner menu and a full bar!
Current Local Partners: LaRoux Bakery in Wolcott, D’addona Brothers Bakery and Giddy Goat Farm in Wolcott.
